HOW TO HELP

• Accept that you will ALWAYS have wildlife around your property
• Don’t call Animal Control or trap and relocate any animal.
• Don’t try to make a wild animal a pet.
• Be careful when driving - look for animals ready to cross the road.
• Don’t cut down trees without looking for holes or nests beforehand.
• Don’t ever use glue traps or poisons.
• Plant your garden with native plants.
• Install a bat house (or two!). Go to www.batcon.com for instructions.
• Keep your cat indoors.
• Save wildlife habitat.
• Protect small wildlife from drowning in your pool. Go to www.froglog.us to buy or make your own device.
• Educate your family and friends about the wonders of our native wildlife!
